Hey! So stoked you wanna take part in our amazing concert. 

First of all let me say, that this concert is all about being creative, innovative and having tons of fun together with lots of talented musicians. We all love music and enjoy sharing what we do. The reason why Jellyfish created this concept is to share his deep passion for musical improvisation and exploration. This event concept is inspiring, yet challenging for musicians, because it requires spontaneous creativity.

It’s called ‘1 Band 2 Stages’ with Jellyfish and The Tentacles. Jellyfish is already here, but now we are looking for rest of the band - 'The Tentacles'.

 

How do I become a Tentacle?

1. Musicians have to apply by filling in and submitting the application form below. 

2. Eight applicants will be chosen to play the concert. 

3. These eight people will be our band/The Tentacles. 

 

What about the 2 stages?

1. There will be two stages facing each other. 

2. One on the left side and one on the right side of the venue. 

3. Four band members will be on each stage. 

4. The audience will be in-between the stages. 

 

Therefore, the audience will be ‘enclosed’ by music. Jellyfish will host the event as well as perform as the eighth band member. Every musician will get the opportunity to lead songs. When you are not leading a song you will take a supporting role in the band. Musical communication has to happen from one stage to the other. Originality is key and open-mindedness of letting energy flow around the room is definitely required. The idea is to really get the audience involved and show them how fun and exciting it is to communicate and connect through music. Musicians are also welcome to switch instruments. The types of instruments available will depend on what the musicians want to bring on stage that night. Any instrument and equipment is welcome. Let your individual style flow free.
