Thanks for coming to the concert

There is a big difference between doing something for the first time and doing the same thing for the second time. 1 band 2 stages was an amazing success. The set up, the musicians, the venue, the guests, the fire dancers, the visuals. Everything worked out great. I will upload footage to the website soon. This week I've been hitting up some open mics with the crew in Ubud and I didn't spent much time online. I feel like I should talk about the big concert, but at the same time I just wanna move forward and get into the next project. So, let me make this quick. I will tell you the easiest and the hardest part of making this concert happen. You probably think, that the hardest part was setting up the sound system on two separate stages in a way that all performing musicians as well as the crowd could hear everything at the same time. But honestly, that was quite easy. Sure, it can always be better, but considering the equipment available it worked really well. The part that by far took the most effort was getting people to show up. It's always the hardest part. You wanna get people to show up at the same place at the same time. Especially, when it's something new they are invited to. Connecting people is the challenge. However, I think over the course of the night we had around 300 people there. It was hard to say because the venue could have held 1000 people for sure. The energy was great tho and the support of people was amazing. Thanks everyone!

Right now, I'm already thinking about a nice cup of coffee at this yummy place called 'old friends'. 😋 Therefore, I will keep this post short. hahaha

What was the easiest part of the whole concert?

It was performing. For sure. Once, we started playing, everything was just flowing. We were jumping off one stage and onto the other. It was a giant jam session just like I wanted it. Great improvisations, changing instruments and sound movements. Everybody found there place to fill.

Massive thanks to Agung, Doddy, Ray, Lola, Julia and Charlie for being the tentacles to my Jellyfish. Everything seemed effortless and in complete joy.

When people started to go crazy between the two stages it was really like I envisioned it. There will be many more of these concerts. This was just the beginning. Feel free to subscribe to the website to keep up with new projects.

Ok, now I'm gonna get that coffee. Like I said, there will be photos and videos coming soon and well as the new album(s). A lot of stuff happening here....

Enjoy today. It's the only day you have.
